Oksana Aminov President / Owner
My name is Oksana Aminov and I am the owner of both “family owned” Home Care Agencies, which are Best PCS LLC and Prime Home Care LLC.
Let me share with you my brief history and how I started both agencies on my own. In December 2000, my two daughters (ages 5 and 11) and I had moved to United Stated from Israel in search for a brighter future and possibilities. We lived in Jacksonville, Florida for one year and then, in 2002, moved to Columbus, OH. I had no financial support and no close family in the United States; thus, with a minimum knowledge of the English language and a need to support my family, I was hired as a Home Health Aide in a Home Care Agency in Columbus, OH.
My work experience in a Home Care Agency was very positive and sparked my passion for helping the elderly/disabled community. Later on, the owner of the agency had offered me the position of a Marketer/Outreach Coordinator, working mostly with the elderly Russian speaking population, which the majority of the agencies census were at that time. I started only working 10 hours per week as a Marketer/Outreach Coordinator and still continued as a Home Health Aide for the remaining hours. After only one month, the agency had promoted me to a full-time Marketer/Outreach Coordinator, because of my talent and abilities as well as receiving positive feedback from the patients. On top of that, I was able to increase the Agency’s active census of Medicare and Medicaid patients exceeding my employment agreement expectations. My overall experience in the Home Care Agency, from an Aide to a Marketer/Outreach Coordinator, had motivated me to open my own company.
In 2006, Prime Home Care LLC was established as a Non-Skilled Home Health Agency through the county programs. This Agency was originated in Columbus Ohio, in a room at my Condo. Prime Home Care was then branched out to Cincinnati, Toledo, and Dayton. With a rough start and a great love for my job, I decided to apply for a Medicare Provider Number and go through the CHAP accreditation process in Cincinnati, OH. In September 2009, the Cincinnati office was approved for the Medicare Billing number and became the corporate office.
In 2011, I filed the CMS application for the Columbus office to become a branch in order to grow that location and offer skilled services. In 2012, Columbus office was approved by the CMS to be a branch location.
In 2011, I applied for a new CHAP accreditation process for the Toledo office as a subunit. In 2012, Toledo office became a subunit location. Once the Ohio agencies were established enough, I decided to expand and try a different state, and not just any state; it was the state I saw myself residing in the near future.
In 2010, Best PCS LLC was established in the State of Florida. With hard work and a strong base knowledge, Best PCS had been licensed by AHCA and accredited by the Joint Commission since 2012. Furthermore, the company had received its CMS approval for participating as the Medicare and Medicaid services provider in 2013. I felt accomplished. Not only did I succeed in my goals, but I had also helped so many people, directly and in-directly, by providing well-rounded services to the patients. In addition, both companies are flourishing and are providing the best, loving, and caring services in the comfort of the patient’s homes.
Lastly, I truly would not have such a long history and success in my businesses without the help of my two daughters: Galit Aminov, Administrator of Best PCS, and Sapir Aminov, Medical Records Clerk of Prime Home Care. Likewise, I thank each and every one who gave their heart to the success of my companies and to the care we give to our communities. THANK YOU!
